Taught Me How To Walk

After a short coffee break Dr. Elena Granieri, the medical chief of Anche noi a cavallo and psychiatrist, gave a lesson on the value, from the historical point of view and seen in the present situation of Italy and in particular of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Thereupon each partner gave a short opinion of their situation and of how social inclusion could be integrated in their activities.

After lunch we had a briefing on the construction of our website with the local expert in charge of this project. Anche noi a cavallo will be in charge of collecting the texts and pictures for the website from all partners and follow all practical sides whereas Turkey will propose some logos to choose from. Any other partner who wants to propose a logo is most welcome to do so.

At 17.00 the meeting finished and everyone was free to visit Porcia and Pordenone.

Saturday March 16th

The last morning! On Saturday there are always a number of indipendent disabled riders coming for their lessons so we had the opportunity to see in particular our Italian champion Gianluca. An expert rider (over 30 years of experience!) Gianluca rides practically any of our horses independently (only at walk) and has partecipated to many riding competitions winning most of them. His disabilities (severe physical disabilities and sight and hearing impairment) are definitely overcome by his iron will to ride and to ride well!!!

After a group foto we said goodbye to everyone, wishing those visiting Venice a lovely day and ARRIVEDERCI A ZAGREB!!!
